Happy Monday Backers! Thanks to everyone who participated and voted for our upcoming stretch goal! After tallying up the votes, we are so excited to release our first stretch goal color!

What happens next?
We have just sent our new design and color option to our manufacturers so that they can create a sample as quickly as possible! We are so excited to get this moving! Once we receive the samples, we will make sure to post an update to share how they look.

We are going LIVE on Kickstarter with product demos and real-life testing! Stay tuned for an upcoming update for more details.
Production Update:
Since being fully funded, we have given our manufacturing partners the green light to start the process needed to get Vessi ready for mass production. Since our technology is new to the market, we wanted to make sure that quality is met at every point. The first step to getting Vessi ready is training our technicians to properly use Vessi's materials to deliver you a high-quality shoe you'll love.
You can see our technicians practicing on mock-up shoes to make sure they are prepared and ready for mass production when the time comes.
Our entire team has really enjoyed working with the Kickstarter community and this whole process has been beyond amazing. We just wanted to thank you for giving us this opportunity to bring Vessi to life.

WOW! over 1,000 backers! What an amazing first week this has been. We are so thankful for the opportunity to create something for the Kickstarter community. So what's next?

The entire Vessi team believes in delivering a product you will love. Over the past week, we have been brainstorming for possible stretch goals (we came up with a couple crazy ones) but we have decided that we should leave that up to you!
Take the survey and vote on what you want to see and we'll try our best to make it happen! Help us reach our stretch goal by sharing Vessi with your friends and family!
PRODUCT UPDATE
Our work has just begun! Since being funded we have begun confirming and scaling the full range of shoe lasts. A shoe last helps determine the shape and fit of a shoe’s upper. Many in the footwear industry would say “lasts come first”. More specifically for Vessi, our lasts determine the shape that the Flash Knit upper rests in. Vessi’s Flash Knit upper is 4-way stretch and form-fitting and usually, with these type of functions, uppers tend to be more unstructured and flimsy. However, we designed our last to accomplish two goals, to help give the upper its own distinct shape and structure and to provide the most comfortable and supportive fit for all shapes and sizes of feet.
The above photos show a machine scanning and shaping our lasts to our exact specifications. Only by confirming the sample size lasts with precision machinery and the approval from expert craftsmen can we scale them into other sizes.
