Greetings from Taiwan!
This past week has been very exciting as we finalize the last details in preparation to ship out the first batch of Vessi's!
Earlier this week, we landed in Taiwan and went to visit all our manufacturing partners again in preparation for shipping. Fun fact, there are over 8 factories altogether working on different components for each shoe and a couple more for waterproof testing :)
After all the visits, we're glad to say, all the factories, shoe components, and testing are looking really good. We've given the go-ahead for...SHIPPING!
We are expecting to start shipping this coming Monday!!
We will start shipping orders in small batches and transition to full-scale shipping soon after. Thank you all so much for your patience and support in coming on our shoe journey with us. We are so excited for you to receive your Vessi's!! We've been wearing ours this entire trip and we are loving them!

We've missed you and we're back with a few more exciting updates! We want to continuously thank you for your support and patience throughout this whole process.
Exciting news! We had our first ever creative studio shoot last weekend and we are so excited to share how those turned out! Here's a little behind the scenes action just for you! Make sure to follow us on Instagram @vessifootwear for more behind the scenes look.
Another exciting news! Our team is flying to our manufacturing partner in Taiwan this week! We are so excited to oversee the production of your Vessi's. This trip will really give us the chance to personally set up standard operating procedures for production, packaging, quality control, etc. We are most excited to see the full range of sizes scaled out in person. We've been receiving specific sample sizes but seeing the whole range of sizes and all the different shoes that everyone can enjoy will be an amazing moment and it's all thanks to you amazing backers : )
Through this visit, we aim to build an even better line of communication with our manufacturing partner so the entire process can be more seamless and we can better serve all you wonderful backers. We are also set to meet with our shipping partner DHL Express to make sure that you all get the best service with as many shipping notifications as possible.
We will try to take as many photos and videos as we can to so you can all follow along.
In terms of timeline, we should start shipping out small test batches in a week and we will scale up the shipping/production once everything is optimized so we can give you all the best Vessi experience possible. We are looking to do full-scale shipping starting late April and we sincerely appreciate everyone's patience. We sincerely apologize that full-scale shipping will be a bit later than originally planned. That is our fault but we look to correct that as much as we can on the trip.
Again, we thank you all very much for your support and patience. It's an honor that you all are on this journey with us.

Hi Vessi Family,
We wanted to take this update to let you know that our lockdown down date is now extended to this Friday, March 31st.
We recently got a few inquiries about changing shipping addresses and orders and we wanted to give everyone an extended chance to finalize your information before we start shipping.
We expect to start shipping out your Vessi's by mid-April and will continue until all orders are processed and shipped.
Please provide an address where you are able to accept the package from April-May 2018.
SIZING:
We want to thank you all for your patience as we learned and worked through the different methods for you to find your perfect Vessi fit. Based on everyone's valuable feedback we've come up with a simple guide to let everyone choose or double check their sizing.
We've modified a couple elements from our original design and strengthened our knit material to make sure that your Vessi will be able to keep up with you!
If you need to make a change to your size, please do so by changing your pledge order directly on your surveys. If you are unable to do this, please leave us a message in our inbox and we will make sure to make the proper changes for you!
